Invalid server password with sam

I am using sc_serv to broadcast out to shoutcast, sc_trans is sending info to sc_serv fine, but then when I try to connect sam to sc_trans it gives me invalid server password. I noticed it only seems to do this when I format the password with the name

assword if i just put a random password in not formatted like that it gives me an error but doesnt say its invalid. Ive read the forums and tried everything I saw that could make a difference. If anyone is good with this or has come across this problem please help. I have a gun and am taking aim at my computer lol. I'd be most greatful if I could speak to someone realtime via messenger or something.

Ive read through that. I have the passwords matching in the sc_trans and the sam program. (I have the password formatted as according to what is stated in that forum) I also read where one other person had this issue but I didn't see where they got an answer that fixed the issue.

I don't think he did get an answer either.

From what I'm seeing on a lot of the other forums, (EDIT: Not trying to cause false panic, or unneeded headaches)
But don't take my word for it.
