Why cant I get my track list where I want it???

All I'm trying to do is get my track list to the right of my Artist list. How do I do it?

All I want is to be able to have a list of artists on the left hand side and every time I click on an Artist, the track list appears in the windown on the left. At the moment you can see my track list is underneath my artist list, which is a stupid way for Winamp to design things, as it means both the Artist and the Track list windows are competing for vertical space. Why cant I have them side by side so both lists can use the full length of the screen? Help!

You can see the image here:

NOW WHY CANT I SUBMIT EITHER A LINK TO MY IMAGE OR THE IMAGE ITSELF INTO THIS MESSAGE???? I CLICK ON IMG AND ENTER MY URL AND I EVEN CLICK ON HTTP AND TRY ENTERING THE URL DIRECTLY. BUT THEY DON'T EVEN APPEAR IN THIS MESSAGE.

WHY???? WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH WINAMP??? I ONLY DOWNLOADED IT YESTERDAY BUT I'LL BE GOING BACK TO MEDIA PLAY IF EVEN USING THE FORUMS TO ASK FOR HELP IS GOING TO BE THIS IMPOSSIBLE!!!!LINK TO PICTURE

NOW I'VE EVEN TRIED INSERTING MY LINK IN ENHANCED MODE AND STILL NOT ONLY DOES THE HYPERTEXT OF THE LINK I INSERTED NOT APPEAR, BUT EVEN WHERE IT SAYS 'URL SUBMITTED BY USER', THE URL DOESN'T EVEN LINK TO THE URL I SUBMITTED.

WHO WOULD HAVE DESIGNED A HELP FORUM, WHERE IT STATES THAT A URL HAS BEEN SUBMITTED, BUT IT CHOOSE NOT TO LINK TO THE URL SUBMITTED???

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Threads merged]

You can have any of Artist, Album Artist, Album, Year, Genre, Publisher, Artist Index (A-Z), Album Artist Index (A-Z), Composer, Podcast Channel, Category, Album Art, Producer or Director for the top 3 panes.

You're currently using a single pane view
Right-click 'Audio' in the ML tree and select 'Edit View' for options, and edit the Filters to taste.

However, the Tracks pane is always underneath.
Sorry, but there's no way to change that.
That bottom pane is basically equivalent to Search Results, which shows individual songs according to the filter/query/search criteria...

In that case, I'm uninstalling winamp.

For two reasons. 1.) because they treat you like a little kid on these forums ("You can't post images because you're only a junior member") I mean, what the FUCK is that all about?? Fuck you, Nullsoft...when you treat people like adults, maybe we'll keep your software.

2.) Because Winamp is the worst designed audio player on the internet. You can't even arrange your music so artist is on the left and tracks on the right. Who the FUCK designed that???

Fuck you. I've ditched your piece of shit to the recycle bing where it belongs.

So far all responses to users with genuine questions about this topic have been met with utterly unhelpful posts, and/or people being complete assholes.

Why am I bumping a 3 year old thread? This thread is old but in my short (and very negative) experience with this forum the responses here are indicative of the combative nature of the posters on the forum.

To the WinAmp devs, how difficult would it be to allow complete customization of the columns in the audio library instead of limiting them to certain categories?
