One-click update playlist links
Sometimes one happens to move/re-arrange mp3 files from one folder to another and so happen that playlists in Winamp get disrupted unless manually updated.
One cool feature (may be just as a plug-in) could be a new option "update links", in the right-click menu context of the playlists within the media library, that would search for the new location of the files listed in the selected playlist and updates them automatically! The search to be performed in the indicated folder (and its sub-folders). This way no-matter how one moves files around, up to date playlists would be just one click away! Does anyone know how to create a plugin with such feature? Cheers, The Moose |

I agree that it would be really nice to have a plugin or facility to be able to fix playlists from within the Media Library as you describe.
But since there is no such plugin AFAIK, you might want to check out ListFix at http://listfix.sourceforge.net/ It's a java utility that will do exactly what you describe. Written by a forum member I think. I've even used it to fix broken Media Library playlists (you know, the ones with the funny names like plf1B5C.m3u8 under %appdata%\winamp\plugins\ml) |
