Play all in Vista

First off, I have been looking through google, winamp technical top hits and I used search on this forum, but no answer so far. I did find a similar thread, but it was old and never had solved the problem.

My problem: I have a laptop with Vista home premium and winamp installed. However, when I'm in my music folder and press "Play all", I get well over 700 winamp.exe processers which stops the computer from working and I need to shut down holding the power button.
But when I use a smaller amount of .mp3 files in a folder (about 50 files) it works.

Is there a fix for this as I love Winamp, and hate Windows media player, for music.
