Cannot Uninstall Winamp

I have version 5.552 free winamp. I have a work computer that will not let me see the cpu, etc. Operating system is windows xp. I cannot use the windows media player after loading. It continues to tell me that another program is using the winamp. I have looked at the taskbar and disabled the taskbar in Internet Explorer. I wish I could supply more info, however, I cannot.

Please help me get this off this computer.

I did find more info on this computer. It looks like dual core Intel E7300@2.66GHZ, 2GB ram
