Automatic lead-in for any audio file played?

I would like it if I could get Winamp to automatically preface each audio file in my "Winamp Playlist" with a silent, one second "lead-in" like so many stereos and CD players can do. Any suggestions on how to do this in v5.552 "Winamp Classic" skin?

There are plenty of plugins that can add a pause between tracks....
