loss of settings in vista

hi there,
I have just upgraded my machine and installed vista home premium, i have installed winamp and shoutcast as described and input all my settings to broadcast my radio show, but shoutcast wont keep the settings (unlike it did when i had it running on xp) and i have to re-enter all my settings everytime i run shoutcast. Is there something else i need to do because im running it on vista and can you help?

last time I checked, shoutcast saved its settings into the program files/winamp/plugins folder.

this is read only to non administrator accounts in vista.

so try running winamp as administrator for initial setup.
right click on winamp's icon--> run as administrator

cheers, i am set up as an administrator on vista but i will give it a try and see what happens.
