Media Library issues

I've been using Winamp for years now. I used to just import all my audio directly into a giant playlist and never worried about using the media library.

I decided to start using the media library for all my music and avoid using the playlist all together now however there have been some issues.

When I play audio from the media library a playlist is created and filled with music. Ideally no playlist should be created and I should be able to see which song is being played from within the media library.

I also have yet to figure out how to edit file information through the media library.

The playlist is the list of things to be played. Winamp cannot play anything that isn't in the Playlist Editor.

Right click -> Edit selected items
