NIN released The slip for FREE DOWNLOAD!

Why I thought this was shoutcast mention worthy?

This is said POINT BLANK on the download page.

http://dl.nin.com/theslip/signup

we encourage you to
remix it
share it with your friends,
post it on your blog,
play it on your podcast,
give it to strangers,
etc.

Being that they are not selling it in stores? You know its not going to be on AM/FM/Terrestrial's playlist, so lets get the word out that NIN isnt gone for all you industrial/rock stations.

not to mention they also released it in optional 96khz/24 bit FLAC. Sounds GREAT when transcoded, but you will need the FLAC plug-in for winamp.

+1 to Trent Renzor

This is like the second or third album that he has released for free, yes?

Pretty sure it is.

Now I am going to have to see if I can kill someone to get tickets to his show tonight in my neighborhood (Chula Vista) to go see him and James Addiction. No point in playing the music if Im not willing to support the cause (Most money made by artist are on tour)

He also has a 1.5 GB download with 96khz/24 bit .WAV format for audiophiles. NOW THATS something to the fans. I only feel I owe him the same.

Thanks but all the good formats are on fucking torrents! If I wanted to use a torrent I wouldn't have had to register with them!

If I like the mp3, I guess I'll have to start looking under rocks to find it.

Your mileage may vary!

Well the MP3s are under about 10 different rocks and been there for a couple of days now, I assume that the 96k files will show up soon.

I'm not a real big NIN fan, but thought we might want it for the station at work.

Your mileage may vary!
