Want to Try Winamp

the problem i have with apps like WMP and iTunes is that they add tags to ur files when u dont ask them to and they mess with ur folders and such. foobar doesn't do anything to ur folders or files u dont ask it to

will winamp do any of that?

like add some 'played this many times' tag or like 'rating this and that' tag or try and rename files and or folders? add files to my folders?

it won't (which some people deem to be a fundamental issue with winamp). the only editing of files will be if you tell it to do so as it keeps playcount, rating in it's own database (which isn't ideal if you swap things around between the different players often).
