Copy currently track to a other folder by pressing a button combination
Hey
First of all sry for my bad english but i hope you understand what I mean I have an idea, i want to have a plugin, which copy the actual played track into a other path. For example: I have my music in an folder located in H:/Music and from this folder, winamp gets the mp3's to play. Now i have a lot of tracks in my library and in my playlist. And now winamp is playing my files and when a Track is good, i want to press a button and a plugin copy this track, which is played at the moment, in a other folder, for example G:/music The reason, why i wannt to do this is that: In my car I have a USB stick and when I am at the PC and i listening music, it is often so, that I mean, wow this track is nice, i want to have it in my car, but i forget the track after listening it. And with a Plugin, i press a button or press a button combinatioan to copy this track to the USB stick and I have it in the car ![]() Can someone help me to do this ? |

have a look at the hotkey actions available in the 'playlist file remover' plugin which should be enough to do the moving from one folder to another (though a future release when i'm able to would allow you to decide at the time where to place the files rather than with the defaulted path set in the plugin's options. just make sure to disable the option on the first of the plugin's preference pages otherwise it'll start removing files you don't want it to do so on.

a few people have been saying about the crashes when opening the preferences though i've not been able to reproduce it consistantly (only way i managed so far was with the playlist undo plugin installed and that was very random).
can you try renaming gen_jumpex.dll in the plugins folder to gen_jumpex.off and see if it still happens please. -daz |

sorry but i've not had a chance to post due to not being around. if you can post the message that appears when the crash happens then that'd be helpful to try and track this down since i'm not seeing it on the 5 machines i've tried so far...
i'd suggest otherwise to do with the version from http://nunzioweb.com/daz/plfr.html or you can remove gen_play_remove.dll -daz |

okay, i removed ge_play_remove.dll and now i can go to the preferences. But now, i dont't have the option to copy the actual play file to a other folder by pressing a button combination.
May I try the other version of the plugin ? but i saw in the screenshot, that there are no option to copy the actual track in a other folder... BTW thank you for your help

none of the builds avialable have the copy option, just move/delete/recycle. i'd not fully read your post so interpreted moving as being ok.
i'll have to try and find some time to get the prefs issue fixed and get the copy action implemented though that's tricky when i'm pulling 12hr+ working days at the moment (hence all my replies have been at silly hours). will keep this thread logged so i'll remember to post back when i've got something working. -daz |
