System icons ruined

I just uninstalled Winamp (it was my default music player) and all my system icons had broken file icons (but they still played). How do I change my system icons? I've tried everything... installing Winamp again, installing other media player programs, going through properties, and even deleting all of Winamp's registry info.

Why are my system icons stuck on the same picture? How can I fix it?

Finally got it. Had to go into folder options, restore the default program, go to advanced options to change the icon, and then change the default program.

*head desk* I was so confused because the 'Advanced' button changed to 'Restore' in folder options.
