Logitech G19 Apps needed

i just got a G19 gaming keyboard, and i was wondering if any of you clever Vis & Plugin dudes would like to make some apps for this monolithic monstrosity of a keyboard.

its all open source code (as far as i know)
it has a 320x240 screen for you to display stuff on, lots of LED keys to flash and fade to any colour you like...

the possibilities are ridiculous...

maybe winamp could support this keyboard by default for viewing playlists while you play games etc...

i see that there are already mods for the G15, including some clever use of the backlit keys (you can make them light up any colour you like on the G19)

if you need more info or source code, reply to this...

thanks

Updated Version 1.1.1

After a suggestion of one of the users, you can change the size of the font on the LCD screen.
You'll have the following choices: 8.25 points, 9.50 points and 11 points.

This change is not implemented in the Installer, please use "Check updates" to get the latest version.

Updated Version 1.1.2

When you change the Background Image, the change of the image won’t take effect in the panel in the application until you restart the application.

Background Image Bug is Fixed in version 1.1.2.0 . Update the application to version 1.1.2.0 using "Check updates".

Hi.

I'm new here. I have one question. I download and install G19app 1.2.4. But WINamp still doesn't work with "music" buttons (play, stop, rev, prev). Can anybody help me? In Windows Media Player this buttons work fine, but in WINamp doesn't.

Thanks all!

Media Keys

Hi Sammi^^

To enable the Media Keys to work in Winamp, you'll need to turn on Global HotKeys in your Winamp settings:

From within Winamp:
Options - Preferences - Global Hotkeys

From there you can select either "Default multimedia key support" or use the ones set in the list below "Enabled"

I use a G19, and I just use the default multimedia key support.

That website is pretty much dead. Try LCDHost instead.

I know this thread is pretty old, but it is the one of the first results if you google for G19 Winamp Apps.

As there still not my good G19 apps available, I decided to write one by myself. It displays a lot of information and even lets you control most of the basic features directly from the lcd.

Check it out: http://mariuz.org/g19/mariuz-g19-winamp-app-v0-3-0/
