Connection time between streamer (PC) - server - client way too high

Hey there,

I have recently set up a radio station, I use SAM Broadcaster to stream my music to a VPS server (linux) that then streams the music to my listeners.
As I have just tested it, I can see that when I change a song, the following happens:
I change the song on the SAM Broadcaster (same happens with Winamp with the DSP-plugin) whilst I am listening to the radio via Windows Media Player or via an online mediaplayer (I integrated it into my website). I notice that the song only changes at the end, so when I switch it, it takes a few minutes for the song on the clients' PC to switch.
How can I make this happen instantly?
I see that it changes instantly on the controlpanel (on port 8000), but it doesn't on the clients' PC.
