Unclean009 and net-cruizer We should only add buttons that are used often, for quick access... Really, how often you change your repeat or shuffle settings?

That's kinda my point, about it only taking a second to open up Winamp itself. The buttons on the thumnail now are all we need. I myself would not add SHUFFLE and REPEAT to the thumbnail even if it were an option, as I set my Winamp to SHUFFLE, when I first installed Winamp, many many years ago, and never have used REPEAT, and have never touched those buttons since. Well I may have had to if I've lost my preferences, but as far as I remember, I have transfered the Winamp folders from one computer to another over the years, to make sure that I always have my preferences, etc. etc.

All I want is a button to play all my music shuffled so when I start winamp I don't have to go into the main menu and double click all artists. Just a request. Plus, I was referring to add it to the jumplist, like the preferences option. It's quite easy to go into winamp and right click to get to preferences, yet you added it there. Why not shuffle all?

I normally have winamp set to shuffle and double click all under artists. I thought there might have been a way to do this using one button, but I have no idea how winamp works pertaining to plugins.

Well that's exactly the same way I use Winamp too.
And Winamp remembers that setting, so anytime you restart Winamp, it would already be set to play all, and still be set in SHUFFLE mode.

Oh I'm just talkin about the SHUFFLE and REPEAT buttons on the Winamp Bento skin, just beside the play control buttons.
I just said that if you load all artist in the media library, when set in 3 pane mode, then all artists load in playlist, and if you have SHUFFLE turned on, Winamp would always remember that setting, so my playlist is always loaded and set to shuffle anytime I start Winamp. Stating that there would be no point in some speacial button to do that.

Yes, I understand both of you, but I didn't get what you want with only one button... The shuffle status saves its state, so you don't have to press it again, and you have a play button on the thumbnail...

'Play all shuffled' seems a bit too specific and unnecessary, but a "Play all music" task item might be appropriate. but that means having a check to make sure the Media Library is avaliable to play all music from.

Yeah, "Play All Music" sounds more like it, seeing is that is what WMP has in the jump list.

I think the plug-in development has come to a point where all the Win7 API was implemented, which was the main goal, and it's working fine. I think I will slow down with it, and just change some features, polish it a bit, etc. The main goal now is to get more translations

I know one useful feature: Play. Simple, eh? Instead of just opening, WinAMP will start playing the music right after his start.

Well I'm not sure what that'd do in Winamp for sure, but I assume if you had been say playing a specific artist, or a radio stram, etc. etc., then Play All would play music from the entire media library. Thjat is what it does in Windows Media Player.

Well if you already have shuffle on, you just press Play and it's playing... I'm not sure how to communicate with the media library, to play the media inside that...

Mr.Henky, I could add that as an option, I would find that useful myself too..

I was wondering if you could add (an option?) to strip the leading zeros out of the minutes part of the display? I rarely have songs over 10 minutes long, but since I only display time remaining it almost always shows something like -05:12 remaining.

This is VERY unimportant if you don't feel like doing it.

[I also noticed problems with jump lists. Check, the checkboxes on the preference page. I had to uncheck it all, then I saw recent files and frequent - then I checked tasks and it finally displayed all i want...]

Well I could add a "Resume playback" command, maybe that would satisfy most of you. It will keep the last used settings, and starts playback...

Btw, uploaded version 1.01, with some minor fixes:

- Settings are saved correctly for users who have Unicode characters in their paths (in their Windows usernames)
- Fixed a "bug" that opened other players instead of Winamp when using jump list tasks
- Updated some translations

I think it gets the length correctly, I just don't want the zeros except for the seconds area of the countdown.
I don't many MP3's over 10 minutes, but I as of now it would show something like -15:05 remaining (I add the '-' and the 'remaining'), but after it has played a few minutes it shows -08:45 remaining and after 8 more minutes it shows -00:45 remaining. I would rather it showed -8:45 and finally -:45. But like I said, it's not important and if you don't want to do it you shouldn't.

Btw, I decided on the new task I will add to the jump list:
"Resume play" - it will start Winamp (if not started), and will "resume" playing the playlist, with the same song and same position in song...

And one thing i want to say that with each new version settings are resetted ! That is a big problem you should fix

Erm .. how are they not saved :| Is anyone else having this problem?

I can't really do anything about the settings being resetted, because I'm changing the data types in the settings, so I can't re-load them in the same one... This only happens when I add new settings that need to be saved.
