Connors Mashups

Been playing with Milkdrop for a while now & thought I'd share some of my mashups. Thanks to all who have gone before...

Most of these are somewhat less, erm, violent than many other presets. So less of the strobing, more of the flowing colours etc. I find the faster/more violent presets get a bit much when you have Milkdrop on at home on a big screen TV.

hey man

some amazing presets in there, i think in general mashups arn't given enough credit at all

Northern light is prehaps my favorite preset ever, i was thinking while watching it a few times, i wonder if he called it northern lights? and you had! brilliant

no offence to martin but that is the best use of the water effect thingy i've seen, was it hard getting it to look like the camera was flying over the water or had someone done that already?

Heh, thanks. No I didn't do the water effect, it's from another preset which I'm guessing they based on martins...(which one I have no idea, been doing these for a few months now). My fave is 'Into The Galaxy 2'... I should have called it Hubble Deepfield

I've played with the shader coding a bit but it's been 10+ years since I've done any C coding and I know very little about shaders so it's all a bit trial & error atm...

truth, the northern lights mix is great.

no offense, but it's usual to give credit to the remixed artists. i like your mixes and i hope to see some more

Sorry but I did say "Thanks to all who have gone before...". I didn't start off with the intention of uploading these so I didn't save things with the full filenames. So thanks again. And thanks for making me feel bad.

Do they ever put mash-ups in milkdrop shipped version? I think some of those are definitely worthy but you'd have to name the original artists (yes i think artist is the right word) still i saw some submitted for last version which i though were better than quite a few of the ones in there but they didn't make it

Can anyone point me to more presets with the water effect? Like the original one flying over water/water moving under you

I’ve recently seen martins royal water fall one which is brilliant, i could understand how you could make the water stationary but to get it flowing in such a realistic way is crazy. Actually could you just tell the texture to move in right direction then distort (stretch out) to simulate it accelerating?
