Help Needed
Hey, Im new here so apologise if I have posted into the wrong section.
Im looking at setting up an internet radio station to run over weekend with various DJ's and have been pointed in the direction of you guys, the thing is im not really sure where to start. We have our own website and would like to link the radio to that too, with possibly a chat room is this something that comes with this or do you have to create that your self?? we would also like the ability of streaming a webcam while the DJ is playing as I say no idea where to start so if someone could point me in the right direction I would be much appreciated thanks again

You need a web host and a stream host,
These are 2 entirely different areas. you can use shoutcast for audio streams and video streams or you can look at other types of player. To be honest i would say for ease of use that windows media would be better for you to cover all angles. you may want an auto dj / content delivery server to play music / videos when you are not online, if you need to look into stream hosting you can find a list of hosts here http://www.broadcastingworld.net/reviews/hosts/ or www.radiotoolbox.com/hosts any web design would be down to you and support for that side is not really given here, Search www.shoutcast.com for radio stations and design ideas and you then know what you are looking for. Good Luck
