Winamp Media Library don't control only with keyboard
Winamp Media Library don't control only with keyboard.
In Winamp press Alt+L opens Winamp media library, and then press key Down, Down, Down. Cursor do not select items in media library, but media library window in focus. Pressing key Enter do not select and plays music in playlist. If mouse pointer select playlist and then press Enter winamp plays music in playlist. Please fix this bug, so winamp media library may be controlled only with keyboard (cursor key and press Enter) Thanks, very much. Hmm, it's just that the ML tree isn't the first focused item.
Hit the Tab key once, then up/down/enter will work. Alt+L -> Tab -> Up/Down/Enter Note: It seems to work ok with Classic skins, just not Winamp Modern. We'll fix it for the next release to make the ML Tree also focused for Modern skins. |

Fixed
I have been having the same problem for a while, couldn't find any answers on here so when I fixed it for myself I thought I would sign up and post what fixed it for me.
It ended up not being anything to do with 64bit as far as I can tell. More to do with having a 50" plasma as my monitor and having windows DPI scaling on. Right click on winamp.exe, then properties, then compatibility, then check "disable display scaling on high dpi settings". I also checked run as administrator (which didn't fix it by it's self but have left it on for now) Hope this fixes your guys problems too, what a pain it was!!! |

Fixed -- THANK YOU SO MUCH
Jarrath, THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Changing the "disable display scaling on high dpi settings" setting fixed my problem. I have been struggling with this problem for a few weeks, and it was driving me CRAZY. Almost to the point where I was seriously considering switching to another media player, and I have used Winamp religiously for 12 years and really did not want to switch. Couldn't find an answer to this problem anywhere except for this post.
You are a gentleman and a scholar! |
