newlines when posting plugin

when submitting a plugin all newlines from the description text are removed, should <br> elements be manually inserted?
example: http://www.winamp.com/plugin/traystatus-v0-4/222253

ps: this is an account from bugmenot, i couldnt sign up due to gmail not being limited, sent an email to the suggested address to have an admin make an account manually, but after more than 2 weeks i figured this works better)

i noticed the issue this morning but not heard anything from the report i'd sent off about the issue. inserting <br> didn't work (at least on the reviewer side of things). moving to site discussion as more fitting there.
