I figured out what it was, I had all my music in VBR, which on a consistant stream...
Now for a question that Im racking my brain on, but sure you all know the answer. I'm running 2 streams, 32kbps and 64 kbps.
So running regular lossy mp3, it would make sense that the better the source file, the better the stream.
However, streaming from the source, would it be better to record my music downsampled so it matches the kbps of the stream, or would it be better to produce a higher (but more bulky) full 192khz 16bit stereo recording, and then stream that to source?
I was always under the impression that the cleaner the source, the cleaner the stream at all bit rates, but looking at some of the wiki diagrams for mp3, Im starting to think otherwise, but trying to picture this in my mind, it would seems that the more samples on an original recording that can shutter into the 32kbps stream, the better.
Can you clarify this?
