What a waste!
So,
Buy this usb Iogear KVM switch, figured less clutter on my desk. Networks monitor, keyboard, mouse, and KEYWORD TO ME, sound. SO, I get this thing hooked up (just got back to San Diego not too long ago) and low and behold, it turns all my audio to HORRIBLE analog sound. I think the sound output on my laptop speakers sounds better than this honestly. Im going to have to rig the sound myself. Still pretty angry though... Could of used that dough to replace my condenser mic. Yeah, next time I think I'm going the ",hit the pawn shop for another table" route. http://www.youtube.com/user/BrutishSail0r I follow Dave St. John's swag, Like this if my videos help: http://www.facebook.com/casterhub |

I don't think it was ever meant to be anything more than sound card quality sound coming out of it. Mine don't sound that bad, got one at my desk so I can how the school network machine and any other machines I happen to be working on (including Mac). Audio is decent to me for regular consume type sound card output.
Your mileage may vary! |

Yeah, I just left the audio split. I should count my blessings with it, as it is doing a linux ubuntu comp to an xp comp.
