Music Transfer HTC Desire
I have a problem with Winamp and my new HTC Desire. As I want to transfer the Music from Winamp to my Desire, I connect it as a Mass-Storage. Winamp detects the phone as a MP3-Player and I can use it in portable devices.
My problem is: nothing gets saved. I can rename the device and can change the settings for music transfer for example but when I remove my Desire and put it back in everything starts from the beginning and Winamp detects a NEW MP3-Player and all the settings a vanished! Can someone reproduce this? Did I do something wrong? Can you please help me? |

Same problem...
..as you. Winamp seems to neglect the settings for sync. When I press the "Save and rescan" it resets the settings.
Also it (Winamp) won't sync the whole playlist. I've set up Winamp to sync only selected playlists not the whole library. It only syncs 3 songs. I think this is because of the "Force transcode" setting. I wanted songs with a bitrate higher than 192 to be converted. Anyways the sync problem seems to be "solved" after I unchecked the "Force transcode" option, unfortunately this takes up a lot of disk space. |
