Teslas Legacy

Here is a pack of three presets. The one it is named after, Teslas Legacy, is the "Main Event" submitted on Teslas 154th birthday, 10 July 2010. The Speeder 3K Remix is basically UnConeDs Speeder 3K from a "First Person" viewpoint and tweaked a little to run better on slower processors. The last one is my first attempt at a preset back in Winamp 2.x days. Just kind of a filler.

I'd also like to know how to submit presets on the regular Winamp site, but I don't know what the stuff about .exe and .wls files are about, so they're here.

Let me know what you think of Teslas Legacy.

Thanks
Palomar Jack

For a new artist, they're a bit standard I guess. I like the fact that you weren't scared off by UnConeD's code but took the liberty to make adjustments.

Tesla's coil (I love 'em in C&C RA2) is a good idea, but it's rather 'static'. Read through the tutorials (see the stickies in the main AVS forum). That'll help you to improve.

And welcome back to the forums!

Thanks for the critique. I would like to attempt a changing point of view for Teslas Legacy, kind of like UnConeDs Mr. Santa, maybe for Teslas 155th BD. Right now I could not even begin to know what kind of code to use. I figure I had to start somewhere. The best I could do was take some liberties with physics and plasma mechanics theories.

I'm going to take a look at the tutorials and see what I can cobble together. Of course, if someone beats me to it I'd love to see the remix and put it in my favorite AVSs. Just mention me in the comments and email me so I can download it!

UnConeD is a real AVS artist, hard to beat. One of the few that can actually tell a story with his work. Didn't try to improve on Speeder 3K, just make it run on an old AMD Thoroughbred 2200/Geforce 4 five or 6 years ago. It worked well, but now it flies on a Dual Core Athlon!

Thanks again,
Palomar Jack
