Plug-in support for Power Tab Editor.

Pardon my lack of... well, let's just say "understanding" about how stuff works. But I'm interested in turning a guitar tablature program that plays MIDI files into some supported filetype that winamp can handle. With this magical plugin, I can highlight any number of these tab files in the Explorer browser, right click, and select a "enqueue in Winamp" feature. I obviously want the tab reader to open when I double click, but this enqueue idea would be just as good.

Here are a couple of related threads that may assist this process, and both are in the Power Tab forum. One link is of another program one of our community coders whipped up, which uses PTE to export MIDI files in large volumes, and the other link is essentially this very post in that forum, seeing who's interested that I might have these two worlds collide.

I'm assuming the plug-in may utilize the same idea the batch export program uses, since it's squeezing out the MIDI file and leaving the rind behind. But I have a sneaky suspicion there's going to be a lot more to it that'll bar this from happening. So then, who knows if we can make some magic?

Hmmm, so I was recently looking up a thread about a plug-in to be able to delete songs directly through the winamp player as the song is played with a global hotkey, and in the thread, there was an individual griping about the request declaring how he managed his libraries manually, (as if he should receive cool points for it). At any rate, he did suggest offering money for such a plug-in, and as I reconsider my desire for the plug-in in this thread, I became more intrigued by such a proposal. Is there anyone who might undertake this assignment for cash payment? I may be naive in the ways of computer coding, but I feel as if this shouldn't be an overly complex plug-in. It's essentially a MIDI file.

So to be clear, I'd like to open up PTE (Power Tab Editor) and notate some guitar tab file within the program and save it as a .ptb file (PTE's native file type), and I want to be able to right click on this .ptb file and select "enqueue in winamp." And if there are any jokesters out there who find this description not explicit enough, the tab actually has to play through winamp.

What kind of price might you ask for, and how would we arrange payment options? Pay-pal? Half before, half after? Let the negotiations (hopefully) begin.
