Milkymist progress (MilkDrop on FPGA)

Hi,

in summer 2009 I introduced my project of running MilkDrop presets on an open source system-on-chip implemented in FPGA:

We have made a lot of progress since then and we are now capable of running several original presets plus some more we have designed specifically for our system - integrating new features such as OpenSoundControl variables, DMX controls, MIDI and integration of live video footage from a camera into the visuals.

We have also developed and manufactured our own hardware (also under open source licenses) and it is available for sale (see the project homepage www.milkymist.org). Everything is integrated in a box measuring about 150 x 125 x 30 mm (6x5x1 in):

Our software also features a GUI for authoring patches and configuring the various interfaces:
