will this work with a netbook?

Hey there - I've been using winamp on a laptop running XP to do my sound at gigs (I'm a magician) It works GREAT - I changed the hot keys so I could use a power point remote and installed the WAS screen saver...I've renamed my music files so the WAS screensaver acts like a cue sheet on my monitor that tells me the next routine etc. This setup has literally saved me a couple grand. (and using crossfade to blank tracks I have smooth transitions...it rocks!)

Carrying a laptop is a little bulky and getting old so I thought about a netbook, but I know very little about them. Would they be able to run winamp smoothly? Will the WAS screensaver still work with win 7 (I'm assuming that's what the netbooks run....)

Any other ideas or comments?
