Folder Playlist on Winamp??

Hi there.
I'm new here.

Just saw my friend playing music with AIMP player few days ago.
Then i just ask : "Why you play with that, mate? Why don't you use the best music player, winamp?"
His answer : "Nope! Yes winamp is best in sound, but it CAN'T show playlist as folder name that contain that music files. It only shows direct music file name."

And he shows me that folder playlist and its very easy to browse what files within that folder playlist to choose what ever files we want to play.

So my question is : why winamp CAN'T do this?
Or its just i'm who doesn't know how to show folder playlist?

I'm waiting for the answers.

your question is unclear to me.

using smartviews, i can browse my ML anyway i want. i don't even need playlist files.

be exact, what can he do that winamp can't?

On Playlist Editor, winamp shows only file name / song title
My songs is placed on each folder and different depending on year release album
Even the songs have the same name buat sometimes its different version
So, viewing folder name where the song files located into Playlist Editor will really help me choosing the song based on the folder that song located

this is all beyond my expertise to some degree... search the forums for "advanced title formatting" and that might be part of what you need. same for smart views, they are used to query your library and return proper results lists.

also, in windows explorer you can enqueue folders and files from right click context menus if you enable it in prefs.
