ml_ipod for other players?
I've been using ml_ipod for a couple years now with a Nano G2 and for the most part it has been great!
Recently I picked up a Sansa Clip+ and, sorry, but Winamp pmp is sorely lacking when it comes to importing playlists (using Portable Media Player Support of course, not ml_ipod). I loved the fact that ml_ipod was smart enough to decode my m3u playlists, go find the files in different directories (even network drives) and quickly copy them to the Nano. I guess I am really spoiled now. For some reason, Winamp pmp can't pull it off. It copies over an empty playlist and puts the files in a different directory. So, suggestion... Since it appears Apple has done their very best to keep people from using alternate software, can we take the great resources that went into making ml_ipod and develop something just as great for those other devices out there? Please?

I don't know about the Salsa, but some mp3 players can be loaded as if they were a usb drive.
ml_iPod works well that way. Maybe that could help? |
