Why are there darkened items in my playlist

I'm trying to figure out why I've seen some items darkened in Bento. I don't mean just the background, but the text itself. I know missing items get a different background, but what causes a dark text?

i would have thought a missing file. what color scheme?

Big Bento Default. It happens when music files are either missing or unplayable, can't remember which. I get the highlight for missing files but the text is black.

Go here: General Preferences > Playlist > Missing Files,
and experiment with the Options, especially "Use separarate colour for the main text".
