Shoutcast site providing stale search results (Issue 21 - 27 Sep 2011 - Resolved)

Hello,
After nealy a month of good performance the shoutcast radio station search machine has stopped updating at 04.02 pm central europe time I hope 'resetting' won't take two weeks again

To clarify for anyone else reading the thread, only searches on www.shoutcast.com are returning stale results.

All direct YP and API systems are correctly working i.e. the in-Winamp view and 3rd party apps are still working correctly.

The issue currently appears to be due to an issue with the CDN system used to drive the main site.

i'm not seeing any issues with the site or api. where exactly are you seeing this?

ok, it looks like the main site listings might be returning stale data though the api and direct YP access is working correctly.

That's exactly what I see & mailed you before; no actual changes in the main site listing.

i don't have any emails coming from you today / recently so i'm not sure what you're referring to by 'mailed you before'.

either way it is now known and has been notified though i'm not able to provide any eta on resolution as i've absolutely no access to the system which seems to be causing the issue which relates to the site only and none of the other systems (which i can and have checked).

also in future, posting in the SHOUTcast part of the forum about site issues would make it more likely for issues to be seen (which i've now moved this thread into) rather than the Winamp tech support forum as i don't check that as often.

Dr O, I don't want to jump on you. I never shoot the messenger. :-) With 'mailed before' I ment my earlier mail of today of 15:03. And yes, you are right, I should have posted this issue in the shoutcast area not in the winamp area. Still I hope that it will be repaired faster than the last time. Best regards Hank.

I really hope that this 'stale data issue' stays away for a longer time now!

likewise, noticeable problems 2 months in a row when there hadn't been for ages isn't my idea of fun.
