Smily Support

I had a smily show up in a Quick Reply post after I submitted it. A colon was
replaced with a smily. If certain characters are going to trigger a smily, then
the smily should be shown before the post is submitted. Or the option to disable
smilies should be added to the Quick Reply editor.

I like smilies, but they should only show up by choice.

it's because you had a p after the colon as : + p shows whereas : + P shows as :P
it's an undesired behaviour of the forum software that's been present in all versions of it that i remember using on here. not much anyone can do to change that as there's no one to do it.

DrO... is everyone fired as a result of the bad economy? i'm asking seriously. it sounds like you guys don't have a tenth of whats listed on the site as the "winamp team."

who has been doing all the website changes, like to shoutcast?

PENN STATE Radio or http://www.LION-Radio.org/

most of the people on the team pages were part of the prior site work (for winamp and shoutcast from a few years back) from what i understand.

there is a decent team but things like working on the forums just isn't high / easily able to be done on an already busy list of things that need to be done i.e. how it's always been with forum maintenance and most of the "issues" are really from the vbb design (excluding the upload quirks which are something that needs ops...).
