Winamp karaoke plug in & zipped cdg files.

How do I set winamp player which has the cdg plug in to play zipped mp3+G files? At the moment on one computer winamp player plays the zipped cdg (mp3+3) files but on another computer I have to go to the trouble of unzipping the cdg files first to play the song on winamp. On this computer if I don't unzip the files only the audio will play and not the lyrics screen on the computer. I do not experience this on the other computer. They both have the same versions of winamp player and the same version of the cdg plug in. I have thousands of the karaoke song files and I use my desktop which winamp player doesn't play the zip files for audio/video recording of me singing karaoke songs and it takes a long time to unzip thousands of songs.

the most likely reason is that the Winamp install where you have to extract things doesn't have an extra plug-in installed to cope with automatically doing that for you like http://nunzioweb.com/daz/game_emulation/in_zip.html (best option would be to check the plug-ins on the correct install to see if in_zip or something like it is present).

If you have issues with Winamp or still want to get it, ensure
you get v5.666 build 3516 and the required plug-in updates
