Sound very interesting
![]() Keep us updated! ClassicPro© v2.01 : This plugin allows you to use cPro skins in Winamp. ClassicPro skins are all SUI skins and loads very quickly. ClassicPro skins is even easier to skin than Winamp Classic skins. A new layout have been added since version 2. |

Hi,
yes, i am progressing slowly, since i have a wonderful one year baby that keep me busy. Actually the only skin i am working on is "miniplayer", quite complex, good to start. Yesterday i associated actions to buttons, and can finally play/stop songs and playlists. Below the UI i use the robust and consolidated XMMS2 engine. To load the maki skin script i ported to c++ a kindly donated code from Ralf Engels, this to load all variables/objects from the maki code. Then i written my own interpreter for the maki script, and my own display engine. Anyway. i have seen 1 or 2 other apps, that even if still in progress, should be able to load modern skins, one seems to be "lamip". But i couldn't have it working so i decided to develop my own app. I keep you informed. regards, angelo |

hi all,
still some progresses done. From the visual point of view, the steps forward seems few, this is becouse there is much job done in the background, about interpreting maki scripts. I also had to re-arrange the logic for displaying the layers. As you can see from the image, i have the fonts correctly rendered, maki events/callbacks and timers are working properly. http://194.177.99.211/~angelo/jericho_29032012.png Now i can proceed enabling playing functionalities, step by step. For who is interested in further details just PM me. regards, angelo |

hi all,
from now on i named the project as "jericho" and have put up a small site with progresses http://jericho.linuxx.org/ You can follow the progresses from here. I did still some small progresses, tickers are partially working, now still equalizer support is missing, and a pre-alpha could been released soon. |
