Listener numbers for V.2 station

I know its probably a silly question, but with Shoutcast V.1 it was easy to see how many listeners a station has by typing the stream url:port into your browser.

Is it possible to do the same with V.2 and if so, how please.

When the station plays in Winamp I see ' SHOUTcast Distributed Network Audio Server/posix vFeb 22 2010' so I am guessing they are using V.2

I'll get there in the end...

there are equivalent pages in the v2 DNAS to the v1 DNAS for seeing that information.

however, the identifier of the v2 DNAS you've posted is from one using one of the beta builds and those don't work in the same way as you often need to explicitly add /index.html or /index.html?sid=# (where # is the stream number) to get to the stream summary page.

really no one should be using such an older build of the v2 DNAS so if you know who it is or if it is one of yours then you really need to be using the public build.

Listener numbers for V.2 station

This is the content of the .pls file:

code:
[playlist]
numberofentries=2
File1=http://us02.tc.mystation.com/320
Title1=mystation.com: Mystation.com
Length1=-1
File2=http://us01.tc.mystation.com/320
Title2=mystation.com: Mystaion.com
Length2=-1
Version=2

How can I find the pages from that please?

I'll get there in the end...

it should be via us02.tc.mystation.com/index.html or us02.tc.mystation.com/index.html?sid=1

Many thanks for your help

When I look at the .pls files for every stream they are all the same, only the quality number changes (32/128/192/256/320) so if I remove that number and add index.html it always takes me to the same url..

I'll get there in the end...

that's why the ?sid=# part is needed to target a specific stream if multiple streams are hosted on the same v2 DNAS or going via the 'stream #' link which is shown on the base /index.html page. though i'm not getting why it seems like you're trying to get the information of other people's streams (based on how things have been worded).
