2 streams

Hi,

i already have an online radio up and running at 128 kbps streams.

Now, i wish to add a 32 kbps streaming radio for slower connections and mobile streaming. How do i go about setting this up in the linux server?

i only have basic configurations, please check attached files.

NEVER publically post configs with authhash and mp3 unlock code details in them - i've thankfully seen things before i think anyone else has otherwise the authhash would have at least been removed straight away. when i'm not annoyed with that having been done then i'll reply back on what you need to do (though it is covered in the other config examples).

to sc_serv.conf add:

streamid_2=2
streampath_2=/mobile.mp3
streamauthhash_2=<copy authhash from existing streamauthhash>

or set to whatever you prefer for streampath_2. if you want to give the stream a different name then you'll need to use the create authhash option, otherwise re-using the existing one will still give a separate listing but have the same title and related details shown for it.

to sc_trans.conf add:

encoder_2=mp3
bitrate_2=32000
outprotocol_2=3
serverip_2=127.0.0.1
serverport_2=8000
password_2=testing
streamid_2=2
endpointname_2=/endpoint2

and i'd suggest changing your passwords as you've edited the DNAS passwords but not from the Transcoders config (just realised that) and using 'testing' isn't particularly safe seeing as that's from the existing examples.

Yap i edited the password for this post just to show the config files, it is not the actual password. i missed editing the authash though, very sorry for that. already removed the config files.
