Winamp operation

I have winamp as my sole media player. when I click on a file, the box which shows winamp to use or download file comes up. It is checked that this is to be performed this way. Then when I click on it it comes up with a winamp file, which I have to click again.

I used to be able to click on the file and everything would start. This is very annoying.

Check your WA preferences related to associated filetypes and integration with Windows Explorer.

Hi Funkyecat,

Is the 'General Preferences - File Types - Shell Options - Start Winamp playing if it is not already' option checked?

Are you using the same version of Firefox as before? Some stuff was changed in the latest version for security concerns. The option to 'download and open' could now be separated to download, then open. I suggest you post the question on the Firefox forum.

I've never used 'download and open' because I want to check the downloads for virus and/or malware before I open them.
