Email Bounces From Digitial River to orders@store.winamp.com
Well, following my latest box upgrade I re-installed my winamp and went to find the licence key in my emails. The last time I had the licence key emailed to me was in 2009 so when I first didn't find it I used the contact support feature, after going through the section to find my pro key, and ended up at a digital river page: https://shop.winamp.com/store?Action...teID=winamp#q2
Next I tried to lookup my order https://shop.winamp.com/DRHM/store?A...en_US&Env=BASE as I did find my order number. I think that due to the age, my order had not been transferred to the digital river system and no order of that number could be found. So OK then back to the main help page and click on the button to contact support: https://shop.winamp.com/DRHM/store?A...en_US&Env=BASE Complete the form and submit. Next I get an email bounce notice from digital river mailer-daemon saying: ********************************************** ** THIS IS A WARNING MESSAGE ONLY ** ** YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESEND YOUR MESSAGE ** ********************************************** The original message was received at Sat, 28 Apr 2012 09:34:45 -0500 (CDT) from localhost [127.0.0.1] ----- Transcript of session follows ----- <orders@store.winamp.com>... Deferred: Connection refused by store.winamp.com. Warning: message still undelivered after 4 hours Will keep trying until message is 5 days old This was the second time I tried using the form to submit a help request. Though I would post this on the forum as I know they are monitored and if I can't email an orders request through, I wasn't sure the support@winamp.com would work either. I did find my licence key in an email archive from an old domain I had back then. Now I need to figure out how to reset the password when the old email address doesn't exist :-) Regards Slurpy1 |

The orders@ email address is a no-reply address.
ie. it's used for sending auto-responders only. Use the support@ address, or the one referenced in the FAQ: I need to contact Winamp Pro Support! http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....did=294846#pro Be sure to include as much info as possible (Customer Name, Customer Email , Order Number, if known, etc). Long story, but if the order was placed before 2008 then it will take a bit longer (for me) to get the details. If it was placed after, then I can get the details for you almost straight away, |

Thanks for the reply. I will resend the mail to support@winamp.com.
Is it possible to have the web page and support request code changed so when you click and submit the email it doesn't auto fill in the address orders@store.winamp.com? |
