api_core

I'm trying to get the api_service to give me an sf to the api_core, but it's returning NULL on calls to serviceApi->service_getServiceByGuid(coreApiServiceGuid);. I did a search for api_core on the forums and it popped only one thread with Joonas stating the same thing. Has the api_core been removed from Winamp5?

I also tried enumerating all the services but I didn't see any of the name strings that I could discern that it was the coreApi:

i don't think you're meant to access it (it more relates to Winamp3 than Winamp 5) and i'm not aware of any need for plug-ins to use it directly - it's more a low level aspect and at most might just be needed for the defines from #include <api/core/api_core.h>
