Support for Windows Phone devices

How difficult would this be? I’m guessing Microsoft isn’t interested in making it easy for other people’s software to work with WP devices, but having to use Zune makes me want to eat glass.

Broken Shards of Glass in an acid soup !
I'm surprised at the lack of development for mobile devices. K Android's great and it works !! But Windows Phone 7 !?

I hope they are thinking of working something up for Win8 and WP8.

Oh, maybe I wasn’t explaining myself clearly. I’m not really interested in a Windows Phone client; the music application that’s built in seems just fine. But actually getting music onto the damn thing is close to impossible. Zune recognizes, like, two codecs. It feels ridiculous to me that I’m carrying around such a sophisticated piece of technology ... and a four-year-old Sansa Clip.
