I posted this question in the Shoutcast forum and the general WinAmp forum, but I guess this is a newbie question since no-one replied.
Simple question: now that my stream is up, how can I copyright it so that the songs can't be saved? ------------------

Why is this question never answered? Is it really that hard of a thing, or am I really stupid missing something obvious?

I don't think so, because when you are streaming something, you are sending them the information and after they have it, they can to anything they want with it. 99% of the time, this is listen to it, but sometimes ppl want to record streams with special software and there's noone stopping them

if the music is your own (as in you made it), it is copyrighted. there is somthing on projectcool.com about copyrights.
winamp cannot save shoutcast streams in recent versions.. i think it was taken out in version 2.2 or 2.4. I'd like to meet a mad man who makes it all seem sane To work out all these troubles and what there is to gain |

Why did you bump a 4 year old thread just to say that?
