Connection logging
Need some help with sc_w3c.log, please.
It appears that this file is cleared and/or overwritten each time the DNAS is restarted. Is there a way to configure that behavior so that the information is not lost upon restart? Or better yet, to tell the server to start a new, separate log file at the beginning of each day? I am required to report connection numbers/TSL for a two-week period once a quarter but I don't know which two weeks until near the end of the reporting period. If I restart the server or machine for a config change or patch then I lose the data. If it isn't possible to change the logging then I will most likely have to go back to the v1 DNAS as the machine is managed by domain admins and sometimes updates/restarts are unpredictable. Any ideas? Thanks, rtmeado |
