My quest for moderator status

I have been a member for too long! It is time to move up the status ladder and become a moderator! Let's see, where to begin.

I have already submitted my application in elchevelle's "I need a sig, not a cig" post, but in case you didn't see that, here it is:

Now, for the most important part, sucking up. But who to suck up to? Please, anyone who has any influence (directly or indirectly) in making me a moderator please inform me so I can begin this process immediately.

Absolutely, Jayn. Choclate covered strawberries will arrive sometime in the next century, due to the incredibly bad mail service down here. But don't worry, I'll be back in the states soon, so I'll be sure to send some the instant I get back. Have I ever mentioned what an EXCELLENT moderator you are? I've always noticed that moderators seem to be some of the best-looking, intelligent people I have had the distinct pleasure of meeting. I worry that if I become a moderator, I will lower those oh-so-high, almost god-like standards. Still, I humbly ask for your consideration of my moderator status request.

Quadrophenia was a brutally good film by The Who (you know that old band who brought you Tommy??? ). It was all about the mods and rockers of the British 60's & 70's. Mods by the way rode around on mopeds wearing green parkers listening to "pop" whilst the rockers wore black leather, rode stinking big motorbykes and listed to "rock". They kind of went around doing very nasty things to each other and the world in general.

The end scene is very good... but not if you're a Mod. (Ahem)

So there it was a cheap play on words and I promise not to do it again...must learn more American media for easy cheesy access

Actually, I've been asking for like two weeks. But, it's their choice. I guess it's whether they like me or not. I know I haven't contributed a lot to the boards except a bunch of lame smart-ass remarks. I couldn't even spell 'dolt' correctly. Hmm... And SLK, I have not been neglecting all the mods in my sucking-up. Notice how I complimented ALL the mods on their intelligence & appearance. I even mentioned that you might be the hottest mod on the forums (I couldn't say for certain, b/c I haven't seen everybody's pic, and I can't make an uninformed decision).

Now pukkaboy has only been sucking up to Jayn and SLK. I understand that hormones can come into play, but we mustn't forget everyone else.
