Can't connect to my station- "Cipher Response Recieved"

Hello, a couple of days ago I Purchased a radio package from outside supplier which also gave me port number, IP and password. I downloaded the shotcast plug in for winamp, filled in the details but I can't connect the station, when I un- enable "use shotcast v1 modes" and press connect, it says for half a second "Cipher Response Recieved" and then "unable to connect to the server, try enabling shoutcast v1 mode", when I do that it keeps trying to connect than "disconnect -kill -abort" repeatedly.

Can anyone tell me what should I do? I'm using Win' XP.
