Transcoder Remote Playlist

Is it possible to add http:// files to the playlist? or do they have to be locally available?

I am creating a radio request script and wanted to make it so people can have the server and transcoder on one server while the actually web application is on another server.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

nope, you cannot do non-local files with a sc_trans playlist.

Thank you for the quick reply. One last question, can the paths be relative or do they need to be absolute?

they can be relative though there may be some issues with that (mainly happens if you're running sc_trans as a daemon) so if you do have issues, then you'd need to swap to use absolute paths.
