Server is currently up and public (no YP connection)

Hi, I have been trying for 2 days to get me a server/station running on my Cento linux vps. I have followed every guide I can find and no luck. I have actually managed to get it installed and running, Connected to it using my winamp to stream my music but no one can connect to listen to it and I have a small player "currently at the bottom of my site" at www.sociallybanned.com that also don't work and I assume that its because of the same error.
I AM A BEGINNER OF LINUX AND OF SHOUTCAST so please be understanding of my lack of knowledge of the workings of these things.

On the player page on my site, http://sociallybanned.com:8000
It says "Server is currently up and public (no YP connection)"

Can anyone please help me?
Also I have looked thru these config files using nano and even tho i have seen it in many guides and even on youtube videos I cannot find the settings on max users and such....Am I going blind?

most likely you've not obtained an authhash for the stream (as per http://wiki.winamp.com/wiki/SHOUTcas...ash_Management which is mentioned numerous times in the docs provided with the DNAS as well as on our wiki). there would also be error messages in the log output indicating more specifically why it is showing that message (which is vague on the public pages so people cannot work out what is going on with your stream purposefully despite it not helping if there is an issue).
