Max Users issue

Hi,

I've edited the DNAS sc_serv_simple.conf to use maxuser=500 however when I check the admin side of things it still declares SERVERMAXLISTENERS=32.

For the last few days I believed I had set the number of max users to 1000 (an unlikely number to reach) but am still being capped at 32 to listeners.

I've double checked the simple.conf file to include maxuser=500 but is there another way to check? I need to ensure a decent amount of people can connect, and I am aware of the bandwidth issues and will dealing with them too. But if anyone can help with this, it seems that whenever I edit my simple.conf file and restart the server it does not actually use the updated settings.

make sure there's no streammaxuser entries (which override the main maxuser) and that you're using the correct configuration file (the most likely cause of it not working).
