Time Problem

I started a new thread at 7:30 EST, and the time registered in this new forum is 4:30 EST. Obviously, the forum time is screwed up, just thought I would let the Admin know.

My new thread topic was "Re-Release of Winamp 2.71?"

Wrong Time Zone

Ok, I see what happened (which is obvious now), this new forum is on West Coast time PST, which has screwed up the order of the previous threads. oh well, just a little bug I guess.

I really dont like the new board software.
Slower loading, and doesn't render as accurately in
K-Meleon (when i want to just read). O well....
O yea, will they ever turn html on? Can I do this? I haven't see that option in the prefs.

Strangely enough this looks like DSLReports.com bbs soft.

Seems like a good spot to activate my new account.

I used to be mmnatas, but UBB doesn't support the "²", VBulliten does. If an admins wants to delete my mmnatas account, please do.

Hold down the ALT key, and type 0178 on your numeric keypad.

My initials are M.M., so I like using M² as my more tech-looking nickname.

No problem. At a message board I help run, lots of people think it's cool to learn to do weird stuff like the ² in my nick instead of using charachter map, which is pretty cool IMO.

I bet there is a simpler way, but don't you just count how many you are from the top? LOL. JK. I have no clue.

The easiest way I can think of is to just go through the member pages (sorted by posts), take the number page you are on multiplied by 15 (number of ppl per page) and add how many down you are on the page you appear on. Once you get more than 20 or so posts, you don't have to look too far to find where you are.

I found a chart just for you... http://yellow.willamette.edu/webcamp/day2/ascii.html
Just hold down the ALT key and type in the numeric value on the numeric keypad preceded by a zero (to make it a 4 digit number).

There's always charachter map, but it is kind of hard to find stuff quickly. You could just copy and paste when the charachter is available to you.

Sarge maybe you can use this: Ascii_table.exe written by myself. (turbo pascal 7) It's possible that you've got an other Ascii table but you can give it a try.

If your laptop's any good, it should have a "Pad Lock" option on it. Turn that on, and part of your keyboard turns into a keypad. (For me, it's with the 7890uiopjkl;m./ keys.)

That would be the stupid Turbo Pascal 7. Damn I want to learn C++. Have to wait a few months before we start with that.
