Heh what was supposed to go up before the links went live to the Winamp 2.71 download, but didn't, for some reason (ugh!), is now properly referenced on the download page.
The installer's second page says '. d.' to let you know.
Differences:
a few AVS improvements
a bugfix to the mp3 decoder

Looks like it'll be next year before another release, since we can't really update the site much over the holidays. But come january we'll be back atcha.

Or maybe it was that thing at the bottom of the main page that said (I suppose) that he was logged in.

more specific pleaZe...

Justin,
I appreciate your Divineship announcing this, but I already have the updated in_mp3 DLL you posted. Did you make further bug fixes, besides those in 2.71D? And what changes did you make in AVS, if I may be so bold to ask? I hate to do a complete download, and re-install for nothing much gained. Can you be a little more specific, for us Winamp crazies....thank you

it should say on winamp.com download winamp 2.71d not just 2.71!

it would help alot, cause i had no idea u had fixed it without reading this post and then even after i downloaded it the install isnt very specific, just a letter d after the message: "this will install winamp 2.71. this installer contains the lite version only. d"

You know, I wonder how often Justin checks out these boards...

O geez, I'm so lazy, I dont even glance over to the column that says the number of views to a post. And i mean the number of people that post, and never view is starkly different..
