1. My dad just got taken to the hospital with possible cardiac problems.
2. My friend's house just burned down.
3. Exams all this week

Theres other shit, I'm just too mad/angry/suicidal to write more.

Dude, that sucks... My dad just got out of the hospital, too. He had to have prostate surgery. And plus, my dad is the mechanic for my local fire department..... Ironic, huh?

A word of advice: Suicide is not good. It won't solve anything. That's the last thing you should be thinking about.

Damnit, I was gonna reply to the thread's topic by saying "Because you live in Ohio," but then you had to go post something serious in the actual message. Hmph.
Anyway, hope things get better for ya soon.

Everything seeks to achieve a mean, an average. Like Water, it will eventually level itself, to an average height. There are times of wondeful prosperity, balanced by times of spiraling deperession. And everything in between-

but everything, mathematically, must eventually return
to its average state of existence. THerefore, probability states that conditions will be better quite soon... and i personally wish you the best...

Oh, hey dude, if your friend's family all lived thru the fire then that's more valuable then all the financial hardship they'll go thru in relocating/rebuilding. Hope they're OK; a house itself isn't important to the REAL big picture.

Exams can be postponed if the reason is good enough, or retaken.

The only thing you should REALLY be concerned over is your dad. His sickness shouldn't make you want to die; all children are meant to outlive their parents. It is the natural way. The natural way is not always or even usually the fair way or pleasant way. All you can do for your dad is be with him as much as possible and let him know how much you love him and how much you need him to get better. It's up to physics and the doctors then.

Your living or dying won't change that particular outcome; nor will it rebuild your friends house. In fact, your dad my suffer from a broken heart after such an act; as may the rest of your family. And your friend would then have the double loss of his home and you.

Let me be blunt:
Go hug someone; get hugged. Talk to people; keep busy. Dwelling is the worst. You are severely depressed and I've been there. Don't stay there long.

PS I too made a joke in my head when I readed your subject line, then got a punch when I saw the content. I thought this was a Winamp bitch list, but I guess it's for bitching in general..

Does anyone know where I can bitch about winamp or should I direct all those needs to the Winamp wishlist forum? Yeah, I think I'll do that actually. Answered my own question.

Deantoth,

The Bitchlist is to bitch about everyhting in General and that includes Winamp. If you have a particular technical problem, post in the Tech support boards, if you notice a bug, go to the Bug Reports boards. Wishlist is only to request features for the next releases of Winamp.
Hope it clarifies things.

Dude, my dad is only 42. And the docs found that it was just a blood clot in his lungs and he should be out of the hospital by Sunday. I'm gonna go see him today (first time in 48 hours:Yay!). I'm not really depressed, just sorta pissed that this is happening to me.

math exams brings back memories. I don't actually find mathematics difficult per se, just tedious; so i was forever doing last minute crams for math tests.

it's funny, as I write this I just pulled an all niter watching movies with a girl, then nerdily posting messages for the remaining hours of night. Now the sun is up and I'm feeling fine. But my last big college math exam I pulled an all niter studying and I felt all shaky and terrible the next day.... weird huh. I guess the activity or interest level makes a big difference on the persons' attitude or whatever.

take it easy

Hey! An update!

I went to see my dad. He was fine exept for the food, the shit hooked up to him, having to talk the nurse into letting him take a shower, and oh yeah the blood clot. They found another clot in his leg. turns out the ones in his lungs were allowing him less than 50% of the O2 he should be getting. He's hooked up to oxygen now. Oh well, they're giving him shots now w/blood thinning medicine and he'll be on ******** (pill blood thinner) for the rest of his life. They found out that he has an enlarged aorta and that increases his risk for an aneurism. They worst part though, is that the cloting is hereditary, my grandfather has 'em and now my dad does, so I probably have them too I passed both of my exams today and think I did ok on yesterdays exams. Tommorow will suck, tho. I have math AND English on the same day.

unfortunately, yes. I'm not getting tested for it yet because then it would go on my medical record and then it would be hard as hell to get insurance.

Good luck to you and your dad.
Can I consider this an official "Nullsoft Get-well card"? Thanx. Dean: wasn't Mendel that TT Tt tt guy with those bean plants?
