Ok, a friend just lent me the full version of WinME - something I've been needing. Problem: It's in spanish. Any chance of me getting this thing back into english? (note: I'll be using 98lite, so I'll use a few english components from my win95 CD.. in english).

?

I don't think you can convert languages. Let me ask you why you want Windows Me in the first place? Its just 98 with some free downloads on the cd. If you _need_ WMP7, IE5.5 etc. then goto Microsoft.com and download them.

Besides, WinMe is only 49.99 in the store if you wanted to buy it.

I disagree - in a friendly manner, of course :-)

Microsoft - in my opinion - sux. If Nullsoft wants to make a kool hit, they should port Winamp to Linux. RedHat Linux 7.0 is absolutely the most stable and fastest OS I've ever seen, and I've seen every Windows version except ME and the 2k versions except for Pro. :-)

Red hat the most stable and fastest? LOL @ you. You've got to be kidding. OBVIOUSLY your a linux newb or you haven't used many linux flavors. Yes, Redhat is probably the most stable and fastest windows wanna be for people who dont know how to use linux (though I think Mandrake is better and doesn't have as many problems).

O, has anyone compiled a bug free 2.4 kernel for your system yet? I haven't and still find a few bugs. Maybe thats why it's still beta Cant get my new DSL connection working too well either. (Seems alot slower)

Can't you just download another language pack from windows update? I dont think so, but maybe i'll look around.

O, Yeah, I forgot. I have WinME Promo Step-Up (In English). I usually do clean install with it (Though it does need 98 disk to "verify"). My WAN drivers dont really work too well with it, but that something else.

[edit]Yeah, senior member! When did I become one? Who knows[/edit]
